You might be an oenophile, but are you a Rasteau-farian too? Take this brief 7 question wine quiz to find out.
I was able to sample a few Rasteau wines generously provided by Rhone Valley Vineyards. Since I had never heard of this region before, I thought I should do some research.
The result is this quiz with food pairing posts to follow. Test your knowledge of Rasteau red wines with these 7 questions.

If you answered mostly c, congratulations! You are a true Rasteau-farian with a solid knowledge of Rasteau wines.
If you answered mostly b, props! You are definitely a French oenophile.
If you answered mostly a, you may be a Rastafarian instead of a Rasteau-farian. Rastafarianism holds that blacks are the chosen people, smoking ganja achieves better meditation, and dreadlocks are a symbol of the Lion of Judah.
Rasteau-farians, on the other hand, may hold that French wine is the chosen alcohol, you should have more of it in your cellar than you can drink, and screw caps are a symbol of the New World.

What a unique way of getting to know these wines! This region is not very well known and this is a great introduction to it! Nicely done! I would like to have a glass of Rasteau to sit and little to some RastaMusic, maybe on that island if it's not too humid.
Lol, I hadn't thought about a music pairing, but what a great idea! Actually really love it!

FUN quiz! Thanks for sharing, Deanna. I will definitely share with my friends who came to dinner and shared my two bottles of Rasteau.
Cool, thanks so much Camilla!
Oh I'm going to share this one with friends! The hubby got a kick out of your quiz too. He's a Rastfarian... as we sit looking at the cold, rainy weather outside wishing makes it warmer inside and puts 😉 on our faces.
Thanks Lynn! It warms my heart to hear you both enjoyed it. 🙂
